AKVA

10 November, 2018

Have you been working too hard?
Isn’t it time for you to take a break?

Come and join us for three hours of ultimate bodily bliss and luxuriating. We promise you a time out of the ordinary to relax and unwind from the working week. Bask in the genuine pleasures of the sauna and jacuzzi, and enjoy the spacious lounge area – all tucked away in the very heart of Klaipeda City.

To be certain that visitors leave feeling rejuvenated and ready to get back to work, a group of creatives have been invited to enhance the experience with a variety of luxury leisure products and services. We will be providing a range of bespoke prototypes – sauna exercises, aromatherapy sessions, vanta and much more – designed exclusively for the event to you to sample, ensuring the ultimate leisure experience for all.

Artists: Laura Marija Balčiūnaitė, Jack Finerty, Kristina Marija Kulinič, Simonas Nekrošius, Rūta.

AKVA, curated by Ellen Tracy & Vaida Stepanovaitė, is part of the Ultimate Leisure event series, organized by nomadic project space Kabinetas. The event is a development of its curatorial cycle Embodied Space (2018) which has engaged in temporal spatial situations such as exhibitions in Copenhagen and Berlin, performative discussions in Kaunas, Prague and Maastricht, a tea market stall in Berlin, a rave in Vilnius, and now approaching doings in other European cities. The cycle Embodied Space is kindly partly supported by Lithuanian Council for Culture.
